Have you fist bumped the President today?
There really are no words to describe this.
Â
Our New President-Elect
Yes we can… and we will.Â
Barack Obama Elected President
This is a day that will go down in history. Barack Obama has been elected President of the United States of America. He will be the first African American to lead this country into greatness, and there’s no better time then now. Our country needed this more than anything, and I can finely say I am proud. I look forward to all the good that will come to this great nation through the leadership of Barack Obama.
Leadership is Right In Front of US
What it all boils down to, is how capable the candidates are in leading this country to a higher state. It baffles me that people cannot see the immediate difference among them. One look at how they run their campaigns can give a glimpse into how they will run the country. If you ask me, there is no doubt that Obama surpasses Clinton, and McCain in this area. The Obama campaign is run with dignity, positivity, and honesty. This is rare in politics, and should be looked upon as a new age in leadership. Someone has finally come forward and is going to put an end to the political impurity that has been forced upon us for way too long. Obama will bring change, even to those who have not yet seen his potential.Â
John Cleese to Write Obama Speeches?
The famous comic, mostly known for his roles involving Monty Python, has made it known that he supports Obama. He supports him so much that he wants to offer his comedic genius as Obama’s speechwriter if he wins the nomination. It is wonderful enough that Obama writes his own speeches when it comes to portraying important messages to the people, but it wouldn’t hurt to throw in some of John Cleese’s humor now and then. Just imagine how entertaining the State of the Union Address would be!
Bill Richardson Endorses Obama
New Mexico’s Governor, Obama’s formal rival in the race for the democratic nomination, has endorsed Obama stating he is a “once-in-a-lifetime leader.” This couldn’t come at a better time, following Obama’s historic speech on uniting this nation. It’s good to know that someone has the guts to solely rely on the positive side of politics to reach the top. From here, we only move forward.
Who Needs Speech Writers?
Obama apparently doesn’t. At least he doesn’t need one when he has to say something that really needs to come from him. The speech on race Obama gave in PA was written by Obama, himself. If it wasn’t for the fact of focusing on more important issues, I would think it should be necessary that all politicians write their own speeches. It’s important to the people that the message being sent is actually coming from the mind of the speaker. It gives it a genuine overtone that adds trust to what is being said. Obama’s speech on race is going to be looked at as one of the best speeches in recent history, and he owes it to himself. He is, after all, the person we can believe in to change how honesty is treated in politics. The speech is already being praised by many, and will inevitably be referred to for years to come.Â
A More Perfect Union
Obama speaks about bringing the country together and finally escaping the racism that america has held on to for far too long.
Keep the Internet Neutral!
Obama supports net neutrality, and to me and many other people, this is very important in letting this wonderful technology to continue to grow and expand upon this digital body of knowledge and communication. Who would want to put an end to that? People that want to control it and are always looking for more ways of taking your money, thats who. Â Don’t let it happen.Â
Obama Documentary in the Works?
That’s what it looks like, and actor Edward Norton has his eye on it for his production company, Class 5 Films. Filming for the untitled documentary began before Obama declared he was running for President, seemingly covering every aspect of this historic campaign. The film is planning on a 2009 release, hopefully in celebration of the newly elected president. Check out the full story.
